First offer – Man Utd submit offer, hell-bent on signing £51million star – Sky Journalist

Manchester United need to acquire a quality striker, and rumors suggest they are determined to entice Rasmus Hojlund away from Atalanta.

According to Corriere della Sera, the Danish international was signed last year in a deal of 17 million euros, and the Italian club has already received an offer worth more than twice that amount.

Man United have been trying to sign him for weeks, according to the Milan-based news outlet, and have even made a 35 million euro bid.

However, Atalanta turned it down, knowing that the auction may fetch up to 60 million euros (£51 million).

Hojlund already revealed earlier this month that he would like to play with the Red Devils:

“My goal is to reach the top level, and Manchester United is one of my targets, but I haven’t spoken to Ten Hag yet.”

During the previous season, the 20-year-old was personally involved in 23 goals across all competitions (16 goals and 7 assists).

However, with the senior international team, the youthful center striker has started four games and scored five goals.

Rasmus Hojlund is promising potential, but he is far from complete. We have also been associated with proven quality goals scorers such as Kane and Osimhen, but they are believed to cost far more than £51 million.

Should Manchester United increase their bid to £51 million to sign the Atalanta striker, in your opinion?
