Man Utd have ‘good idea’ where dressing room leaks coming from after Gary Neville claim

Manchester United is reported to have a ‘very good idea’ where the training ground leaks have come from, and they seek to eradicate the self-serving ethos’ that has permeated the dressing room.

Ralf Rangnick was chosen temporary manager at the end of last year, taking over after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fired during a poor run of form. Tasked with improving results, the 63-year-old has kept the ship afloat, but with less-than-spectacular results.

United’s single goal for the rest of the season is to finish in the top four and ensure that the new manager has a shot at the Champions League next season. Rangnick’s tenure in the Old Trafford dugout has been marred by allegations of discord among the playing staff, with various suggestions of discontent making their way into the press.

Mirror Football reported in January that many players thought Rangnick’s methods were out of date, while also criticizing his assistant Chris Armas. According to Sky Sports, United executives are aware of the source of the leaks and intend to resolve the issue in the coming months.

Shortly after criticizing Rangnick’s methods, Red Devils legend Gary Neville lashed out at what he called “disrespectful and filthy” statements, alleging the players’ demeanor was unfit for the club.

“On Friday, I thought that was simply insulting — I did not find it humorous at all,” Neville remarked in February. “The fact that they were referring to Ralf Rangnick’s number two as Ted Lasso was not just disrespectful, but also repulsive.” It encapsulates my opinion of them: they are disrespectful.

“I believe that if I were Ralf Rangnick’s number two, I would gain strength from that because I would not want to be on the same page as some of the players who are leaking these types of stories.” That never happened during my tenure, but we had the most stability.”

Neville went on to give an example involving disgruntled Chelsea players under Andre Villas-Boas when team info was leaked to the public well before kickoff. “That is occurring at Manchester United right now — the PR teams, the agents, and the marketing teams are all doing it as a form of self-preservation for their own player,” Neville added.

“”However, what they don’t realize is that when they go to the media, those media persons go to us – so we know who is the briefing.” The truth is that we dislike it, but we know who it is.

“We’re not going to throw individuals under the bus here because we have that journalistic respect – but they’re doing it, in the same manner, Chelsea did all those years ago.” They must put an end to it and strive as hard as they can.”
