Pogba’s future at Old Trafford is still up in the air, with his contract set to expire in the summer and a number of clubs keeping an eye on the issue.

Ralf Rangnick, the club’s new interim manager, would prefer Pogba to stay, but recently indicated that he will not go to great lengths to persuade him.

Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has hinted that he would quit United in the summer rather than renew his contract.

Man United may now be looking for a replacement, according to The Athletic, who report that Kamara is ‘under consideration at Old Trafford.

With Kamara available on a free transfer in the summer, it is known that the Red Devils are ‘monitoring the situation as they weigh up possibilities to reinforce their midfield.’

Over the course of five years, the former France under-21 international has appeared in 126 appearances for Marseille, and the midfielder is now ‘drawing lots of interest across Europe.’

Kamara’s future has been a ‘hot topic of discussion,’ with the French club’s early attempts to prolong his contract ‘failing to please the defensive midfielder.’

‘Recent attempts were judged to be too late.’ Kamara ‘has now chosen to leave as a free agent at the conclusion of the season,’ according to the source. The 22-year-old is looking for a ‘new challenge outside of France,’ according to him.

Meanwhile, watching Man United teammate Victor Lindelof struggle with his breathing during Saturday’s 1-0 win against Norwich brought back thoughts of Christian Eriksen and Sergio Aguero, according to David De Gea.

The game, or football, became irrelevant as soon as it became impossible to breathe and feel funny. “First and foremost, there’s life,” De Gea told Sky Sports.

“We noticed a few guys who appeared to be in pain; I’m not sure what was wrong, but Victor seemed to be having trouble breathing.”

“We’ve already seen Eriksen and Aguero… As a result, it’s sometimes tough to notice your player act this way, thus it’s best to modify. I hope he’s in good health.”
