Man Utd takeover: Truth behind Carrington construction and Sheikh Jassim as the new owner revealed

The takeover of Manchester United Sheikh Jassim was the focus of a theory on Friday when construction at the club's Carrington training facility started.

According to Express Sport, the building of Manchester United’s Carrington training facility was pre-planned and had nothing to do with a possible acquisition.

On Friday, Sheikh Jassim was blamed for the club’s academy building improvements, sending fans into a frenzy. There is, however, still no assurance that the Qatari billionaire would prevail against the Red Devils given the Glazers’ continued control.

On Friday, images of a crane at the Carrington facility appeared on social media. As the end of the season draws near, the complex is undergoing some upgrades.

Then, some followers claimed that Sheikh Jassim was responsible for the redevelopment.

Express Sport has learned that the building was unrelated to the Qatari billionaire or a possible takeover.

Instead, as part of their ongoing behind-the-scenes renovation plans, the club had planned ahead and had this in the works for some time.

Sheikh Jassim is still in the running to purchase United after submitting four offers so far, the most recent of which was on May 16.

However, the Glazers have yet to comment, and while the matter drags on, they have also not made clear which way they are leaning.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also in the running, and the CEO of INEOS is willing to offer the brothers Joel and Avram Glazer reduced responsibilities as a carrot.

The siblings find this tempting because, despite the opposition to their reign, they are hesitant to give up full control.

Previously, a Friday announcement was anticipated, as the Raine Group was in talks with prospective acquirers.

But given that companies were prepared to offer minority investment as well, that didn’t occur, and it’s unclear when the Glazers will make a final choice.

Cristiano Ronaldo criticized United’s Carrington training facility in November, telling Piers Morgan that “nothing has changed, the pool, the jacuzzi, even the gym.”

“Technologically, even the “chefs,” who are people I truly respect and appreciate, are in the kitchen. I’m surprised that they’ve stopped in time.

I was shocked because I anticipated seeing different things in terms of infrastructure and technology, as I stated, but regrettably, I continue to see things that I previously saw when I was 23 or 24 years old.

Then, in a January speech, Jesse Lingard backed up Ronaldo’s assertions.

The Diary of a CEO Podcast had Lingard saying, “They’re so behind with everything.”

“When we travel there with England, you see the facilities of [Manchester] City and Tottenham.

People outpace United by a wide margin.

When questioned explicitly about Ronaldo’s remarks, he continued, “[United] is one of the biggest clubs in the world, you want the best food and a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna, but modernize it.

You think, “Get up to date, catch up, because you’re way behind at the moment,” when you look at the facilities in the city.

The next game for United is against Fulham on Sunday at 4 p.m.

And since they have already guaranteed a spot in the top four, they will want to finish the season on a strong note.

Additionally, the Red Devils have defeated Fulham twice so far this season.

Before the World Cup in November, they defeated them 2-1 at Craven Cottage, with goals from Christian Eriksen and Alejandro Garnacho.

And in a 3-1 FA Cup victory in March, United defeated Marco Silva’s team, with goals from Bruno Fernandes (2) and Marcel Sabitzer.
