According to W Deportes, Manchester United has been seeing the 21-year-old in action for the Eredivisie club.

This season, the Mexico international has 18 goals and four assists in 37 games across all competitions. This appears to have piqued the interest of the Red Devils, who are the’most interested team’ in acquiring the player’s services.
Manchester United has made ‘initial contact’ with Giménez’s environment, in addition to sending scouts to monitor him for several games. This was done to determine whether or not negotiations to sign the frontman could begin in the summer.

W Deportes emphasizes that this is their own knowledge and that there have been no conversations between the two clubs. The Mexican is presently valued at €9 million, while Giménez has a ‘clause close to €20 million,’ according to the report.

Erik ten Hag’s team may bring in a new striker next season as a result of Wout Weghorst’s [on loan from Burnley] problems and Anthony Martial’s injury issues. It remains to be seen if Giménez is one of them.
