Sancho maintained his composure in a tumultuous game, providing two assists to help his team earn the three points.

Sancho’s first assist of the night came when his chipped cross was headed home by Bruno Fernandes, who had given the Red Devils the lead.

Leeds scored two goals to start the half, but United retook the lead after 70 minutes thanks to Sancho’s contribution.

Sancho and Fred played a one-two, with the Brazilian restoring United’s lead before Anthony Elanga sealed the victory.

Since his £73 million move from Borussia Dortmund, the 21-year-old has struggled to make an impact.

With goals against Middlesbrough and Southampton, as well as two assists against Leeds, United supporters believe Sancho is finally on the right track at Old Trafford.

‘Sancho looks like he’s worth every penny,’ said United Muppetiers. It only took a little common sense to figure out that he’d take his time getting started, but that’s how he is. ‘Most Valuable Player’ and “Absolutely Outstanding” recently.’

‘Jadon Sancho has arrived,’ Aidan Walsh wrote, while Atwine Tayebwa said, ‘Jadon Sancho – really unique player we’ve got on our hands.’

Another Twitter user expressed the hope that Marcus Rashford, like Sancho, would regain his form.

They wrote: I’m ecstatic that @Sanchooo10 is settling in to a United shirt. He only needs to give Rashford some of the water he’s drinking. ‘We need to reclaim Rashford from the previous two or three seasons.’

‘Jadon Sancho has really turned a turnaround over the last 5 games, wonderful to see he’s starting to find his confidence after a tough start,’ Miles Hackett wrote on Twitter.

‘Starting to feel like Jadon Sancho is in the correct hands with Ralf Rangnick!’ wrote UtdPlug on Twitter.
