Deal close – Man Utd now prepare decisive £42.8million offer, today, to secure signing

Manchester United are serious about signing Andre Onana, and after having their initial bid rejected, they are planning to make a second offer.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image provided below), the Inter Milan star’s transfer story is nearing its conclusion, as ‘the concluding scene should be shot in the red half of Manchester, and soon too.’

According to the report, the Red Devils made their initial offer of 45 million euros to entice the Nerazzurri shot stopper yesterday.

However, the Serie A giants turned down the offer. The ‘decision to take the next move’ has now been reached, and Manchester United is preparing an offer of £42.8 million (50 million euros), which is expected to be submitted today.

Inter Milan want 60 million euros, according to Gazzetta, however the Milan-based media source stated yesterday that the Italian club will finalize the trade if they receive approximately 50 million euros (£42.8 million).

Once they have agreed to transfer Onana to Manchester United, the Serie A heavyweights will make an initial offer to London for Romelu Lukaku.

The 27-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper enjoyed a fantastic season under Simone Inzaghi’s guidance, but the club is willing to’sacrifice’ him to improve the club’s finances.

Erik ten Hag, according to GdS, detailed to Onana over the phone how he plans to use him at Old Trafford.
