Marcos Rojo has been with Boca Juniors for a year after leaving Manchester United.
The former Manchester United defender had no regrets regarding his decision to leave the club.
According to BBC Sport, an unknown fee was agreed upon for Rojo last February, with the Red Devils merely happy to get him off their books.
He hadn’t played for United since December 2019, when he went on loan to Estudiantes for one match and then played 45 minutes in one under-23 game in late 2020.

Rojo has overcome many injuries to become a regular for Boca Juniors, and he recently celebrated his one-year anniversary with the Argentine giants.
Rojo’s rookie year

Rojo has made 30 appearances for Boca Juniors this season, scoring one goal. He made headlines last October after receiving a red card after only 16 minutes in a River Plate derby, as well as two bookings.
Boca Juniors won the Copa Argentina this past December, which was a huge achievement. Boca defeated Talleres in a penalty shootout, with Rojo taking the first shot.
Last season, the 31-year-side olds finished sixth in Argentina’s premier flight and were eliminated in the Copa Libertadores round of 16.
Rojo had won both trophies with Estudiantes before moving on to Spartak Moscow, Sporting CP, and ultimately Manchester United.
With United, he won the FA Cup, League Cup, and Europa League and appeared in 122 games between 2014 and 2021.
He has no regrets about leaving, and he probably wishes he had left sooner. Leaving in January was long overdue and certainly in everyone’s best interests. It’s great to hear he’s happy and back playing football on a daily basis.
