As they look forward to a bright new era, the Red Devils are ready to turn to the wise, old German sage. After an awful 4-1 loss to Watford last weekend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign came to an end on Sunday. And it appears that Rangnick has been chosen as a replacement quite soon.

Rangnick’s appointment is expected to be announced soon after protracted discussions. He was expected to sign a contract until the end of the season, with the possibility of a consulting job at Old Trafford after that.

Rangnick was supposed to keep the hot seat warm until a permanent successor – most likely Mauricio Pochettino – was appointed.

Pochettino added fuel to the fire by signing a Manchester United shirt (for a fan) earlier this week, fueling speculation that he was on his way to Old Trafford.

Rangnick, though, might now become United’s permanent, long-term manager, according to rumors. The same article reveals how much United will pay in compensation and how much the 63-year-old will earn.

Rangnick is prepared to make significant changes at United, and it will all begin on the practice field. According to reports, United is already working with Rangnick to undertake a number of reforms ahead of his appointment.

As a result, the Daily Telegraph believes that Rangnick has obtained access to tapes of Solskjaer’s training ground practices.

Rangnick intends to examine the material and compile an in-depth analysis of the present squad from several camera perspectives.

Major modifications to training are expected, according to the publication, including the introduction of his iconic countdown clock.

Rangnick’s ambitions hinge on Haidara.

Rangnick would use the highly visible ticker at Carrington training sessions, according to James Ducker, to encourage a high-intensity workout.

The German is often regarded as the “Godfather” of the gegenpress, a technique that Jurgen Klopp frequently employs. The Merseysiders’ success under Klopp has been largely due to their high-intensity pressing game.

Rangnick believes that a fresh midfield signing is required to carry out that strategy.

With that in mind, the Daily Mirror reports that the German is pressuring United to recruit Haidara as his first new signing.

Rangnick managed the midfielder’s transfer to RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in 2019.

During his tenure in the Bundesliga, the Mali international has progressed from strength to strength. This season, he’s a regular starter for Jesse Marsch’s club.

According to the report, United might sign him in January for £33 million.

The Bundesliga club is vulnerable to star player sales, and they are said to have set a low price on Haidara’s head.

Fred’s long-term suitability is immediately questioned as a result of his signing.

During his three seasons at Old Trafford, the Brazilian has had a difficult time. By pressing high up the field, he set up Cristiano Ronaldo for the game-winning goal against Villarreal on Tuesday.

However, Fred’s assists are few and far between, and the addition of Haidara would be a significant increase.

Amadou Haidara admits to having an interest in Manchester United.

It will also be difficult to persuade Haidara to leave Leipzig for Old Trafford.

By leaving the Red Bull Arena for the Red Devils, he will almost certainly earn a considerable raise in salary.

Furthermore, Haidara has made it apparent that he adores United.

When asked about the northwest giants’ previous interest in him, he told Bild why he would be interested in the movie.

“I’m a big fan of Manchester United and try to watch as many games as I can. In 2019, Haidara said, “I dream of playing there.”

Newcastle is also interested in Haidara, but a move to Old Trafford – and a potential partnership with Rangnick – would be significantly more appealing.
