Rashford has struggled at Old Trafford this season, scoring only five goals in 26 appearances. MEN Sport believes that the England international is considering leaving the club, following his exclusion from the starting XI in the recent derby defeat to Manchester City.

Meanwhile, according to MEN Sport, United’s board of directors is hoping to appoint Ajax manager Ten Hag as their permanent manager. Rashford will be given a chance to prove himself deserving of a place in United’s starting lineup, based on De Ligt’s statements from January 2018.

The NOS’ Joep Schreuder quoted the defender as saying: “Everyone gets a fresh start under Erik ten Hag, with new football visions and perspectives, and as a squad, this can only be beneficial to our future development. Under Erik ten Hag, the training is different, with a lot of emphasis on tactical elements and positional play, and it is quite informative.”

What Paulo Dybala has said about Cristiano Ronaldo in the wake of the United transfer rumours.

In the wake of speculations connecting him with a summer move to Manchester United, Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has previously described playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo as a ‘delight.’

According to Sky Sports, Dybala will depart Juventus at the conclusion of the season after it was decided that he would not sign a new deal with the club. His current contract expires in June, and despite discussions between the Turin club’s administration and Dybala’s agent, no agreement has been reached.

As a result, he will be available on a free transfer this summer, with reports linking the Argentine with a move to Old Trafford. In 2019, Dybala was heavily linked with a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs had agreed a fee with Juventus to sign the versatile attacker, who has 13 goals and six assists in 29 appearances in all competitions this season, according to Sky Italia at the time. United was also given credit for generating interest.
