The possibility of Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s departure was hinted at back then, as he had seen only four minutes of action under manager Erik ten Hag before the World Cup and appeared out of favor.

However, Wan-Bissaka’s fortunes took a turn for the better after Diogo Dalot’s injury, making him the regular right-back in the latter part of the season.

Fast forward nearly a year, and Manchester United is once again linked with Denzel Dumfries, with his ‘athleticism and physicality’ deemed suitable for the Premier League.

Calciomercato. It highlights the significance of the Red Devils’ interest, particularly given Ten Hag’s familiarity with Dumfries from their time together at Ajax.

Inter currently values the Dutchman at €40 million, but it’s suggested that this valuation could rise if he signs a new contract.

It’s worth noting that Manchester United is unlikely to invest further in the right-back position, given that Diogo Dalot recently signed a long-term contract with the club.

Furthermore, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has received praise from Ten Hag throughout the year, raising the possibility of a new deal for the 25-year-old in the near future.
