Cristiano Ronaldo has cautioned Erik ten Hag that he will need time to establish himself at Manchester United, but he is optimistic that the team can compete for honors next season. Despite Ronaldo’s goal-scoring exploits, for which he was named Premier League Player of the Month for April, United have faced yet another disappointing season, extending their title drought to five years.

However, the club did manage to meet its goal of selecting its next permanent manager before the end of the season. Last month, it was revealed that Ajax manager Ten Hag would take over in the summer after a £1.75 million fee was negotiated to free him from his contract in Amsterdam.

The 52-year-old has agreed to a three-year contract with a one-year extension option. Ronaldo was pleased by Ten Hag’s successes at Ajax, but he has made it clear that he needs time and authority to make significant changes at Old Trafford if the club is to reclaim its former glory.

Jude Bellingham confirms preparations for a summer transfer.

Jude Bellingham insists he will remain at Borussia Dortmund next season despite continuous interest from Manchester United. The England international turned down a move to Old Trafford two years ago in order to join the Bundesliga club, concluding that Dortmund would provide him with the greatest environment for his growth.

Bellingham, 18, has shone in Germany, benefiting from consistent playing time in both the local and European games. His outstanding performances have sparked increased interest in his signature, with both Manchester United and Liverpool said to be interested in the former Birmingham City midfielder.
