 MAN UTD EYE CHRISTOPHER NKUNKU,

Following the dismissal of former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Red Devils are in yet another time of transition. Rangnick, the interim manager, has improved results overall, although the performances continue to be heavily criticized.

There is also widespread dissatisfaction with the club’s handling of communications in the aftermath of player disclosures.

Despite the difficulties, United is looking forward to the summer transfer season, when huge things are expected.

Midfield has emerged as a transfer target, with Paul Pogba expected to depart at the conclusion of the season. There has also been criticism leveled at Fred, Scott McTominay, and Nemanja Matic.

United have long been linked with a move for West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice. Rangnick, according to ESPN, is pressing the Red Devils to sign Nkunku.

Rangnick, the club’s director of football at the time, was instrumental in bringing the 24-year-old attacking midfielder to Leipzig. And the France Under-21 international has had a meteoric rise since joining the club.

Nkunku has scored 31 goals and assisted on 40 others in 115 games for Leipzig. This season alone, he has made 33 direct contributions. As a result, ESPN notes that he is developing as one of the finest players in the Bundesliga.

Prior to the arrival of Rangnick, United had little interest in Nkunku. Nonetheless, he is now a key target, and club scouts will pay closer attention to his performances.

Nonetheless, ESPN reports that Liverpool, Arsenal, and Real Madrid are among the clubs interested in the player.
