English club announce Manchester United’s first summer signing

Stevenage have announced the signing of Elyh Harrison, their teenage goalkeeper, to Manchester United.
Harrison, 16, has played for Stevenage U17s but is yet to earn a senior appearance in his brief career. He has, however, earned a transfer to one of the world’s most powerful clubs.
Harrison has joined Manchester United, according to Stevenage, but his new club has yet to confirm the transfer.
However, Harrison’s name has been sneaked into their list of academy first-year scholars on their Official Club Website.
Manchester United fans have grown increasingly unhappy with the lack of transfer activity, which could explain why the club has yet to make a substantial announcement regarding the player.
The club’s expectation is to bring in mega-money players, thus announcing a young goalie may generate some controversy.
Signing players for the future is not a problem, but Manchester United’s rivals are all strengthening this summer, and there are no huge signings at Old Trafford right now.
