Edinson Cavani makes Man Utd contract decision

Manchester United’s Edinson Cavani has opted to leave at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old Uruguay international’s contract expires in June, and Goal reports that he will not seek a renewal.

Cavani will instead return to his native South America.

Boca Juniors and other Brazilian clubs have expressed considerable interest in the veteran.

This season, the striker has made ten appearances, scoring two goals and assisting on one.
