Despite aiming for at least three additions, the club’s financial situation has been strained following their Champions League exit, necessitating player departures before new signings.

Donny van de Beek is already set for a loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt, and the potential exit of Jadon Sancho looms large.

The winger, sidelined after a public dispute with the manager, is now being sought by Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart, in addition to earlier links with RB Leipzig.

Although United prefers a permanent sale for Sancho, a loan deal could be considered if substantial wages are covered, along with an obligatory purchase clause.

Discussions with Leipzig have faced challenges due to Sancho’s significant wages, making the deal complex.

Leverkusen and Stuttgart have inquired about the Englishman, and United seeks financial coverage for a loan arrangement with an obligation to buy.

While Borussia Dortmund initially distanced themselves from the race, they still remain favorites to secure Sancho’s signature.

The possibility of a return to Signal Iduna Park on an 18-month loan is mentioned, given his successful stint there.

As alternatives, United has been linked with Marcus Edwards, Pedro Neto, and three other forwards. The club is eager to part ways with Sancho, even considering contract termination as part of INEOS’ more assertive approach.
