Manchester United’s newest addition, Toby Collyer, was spotted cheering on the Reds’ Under-18s team as they defeated Leeds United 4-1.

The 18-year-old revealed his departure from Brighton & Hove Albion by posting an Instagram photo of himself signing the Manchester United contract alongside Justin Cochrane, the Reds’ academy’s head of player development and coaching.

The potential was set to join United after excelling on trial, according to the Mail at the start of the month. Collyer has joined the Red Devils on a three-and-a-half-year contract, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

The England youth international is a defensive midfielder who will initially be part of United’s under-23 squad, but he was spotted yesterday watching Travis Binnion’s kids beat the young Whites.

After Leeds took the lead in the third minute through Luca Thomas, United went into overdrive and swatted away their rivals in the Roses rivalry.

United scored all four goals in a devastating 37-minute stretch, with strikes from Joe Hugill, Omari Forson, and Ethan Ennis, ensuring Binnion’s side took all three points.

The victory came after United rallied from a 4-1 deficit to draw 5-5 with Liverpool the previous week.

Ennis has four goals in his previous two games and appears to be on a roll following his summer move from Liverpool.

Hugill’s goal against Leeds moved him over Manni Norkett (7) as United’s Under-18s top scorer.

This season, the 18-year-old has eight goals in five under-18 appearances. So far this season, he has only failed to score in one encounter at that level.
