United are preparing for their first season under new manager Erik ten Hag.

It is fair to assume that their preparations this summer did not go quite as planned.

Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martinez have all joined the club.

But their major objective from the start was FC Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong, albeit this transfer drama has grown tedious and is no closer to completion.

They’ve also had to deal with Cristiano Ronaldo’s habit of throwing his toys out of the pram.

The attacker is upset that United did not qualify for the Champions League last season and has shown interest in leaving the club this summer.

Despite the fact that no one is interested in the 37-year-old, he has returned with his tail between his legs and will play against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

Former Chelsea player Tony Cascarino believes Manchester United will “fail” again next season if Ronaldo is only concerned with scoring goals:

“Ronaldo’s responsibility is more than just scoring more goals in the Champions League.” Yeah, excellent,” Cascarino said to talkSPORT.

“So your entire life’s goal is to shatter records?” He’s currently at the point in his career where the club he’s at is attempting to rekindle itself and requires a leader.

“He has to be the leader on the football field for them to try to galvanize something.” If Ronaldo believes it is simply about his goals, he will achieve them but the team will fail.”

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are ‘looking at options’ with Ronaldo’s ‘future uncertain.’

They are interested in Sesko and Kalajdzic from Red Bull Salzburg and VfB Stuttgart, respectively.

Salzburg’s Twitter admin jokingly quoted United £300 million for Sesko, although he is actually worth £55 million.

The Red Devils believe this is a tad high for a 19-year-old who only scored eleven goals last season.

As a result, they are ‘considering a move for Stuttgart’s Kalajdzic, who is available for roughly £17 million.

At almost 6ft 5in, Kalajdzic is a towering f***er who has scored 23 goals in 54 Bundesliga outings.
