The verdict: Based on their current points total and game in hand, there is no denying Arsenal are the favourites to clinch a place in the Champions League for next season. On paper, Tottenham may appear to have the most favourable run-in, but there is work to be done there to claw back the deficit extended by this month’s dramatic defeat to United.
