Big name to be benched for Atletico Madrid vs Man United

According to Metro, Diego Simeone intends to use a back five against Manchester United, with Angel Correa and Joao Felix upfront.
The reason for Simeone’s decision to drop Suarez is unknown, but given his history with Manchester United, the former Liverpool icon will be disappointed.
With Koke, Antoine Griezmann, and Thomas Lemar all out due to injury, benching one of your remaining elite players is an intriguing choice, to say the least.
Suarez has 11 goals in 33 outings across all competitions this season, which is far from his best.
He scored against Osasuna last time out, but after recently turning 35, Simeone may decide he lacks the fitness to compete in both leagues.
Atletico Madrid is having a forgettable season in La Liga, finishing fifth, fifteen points behind league leaders Real Madrid.
Surprisingly, Suarez has only scored twice in nine games against Manchester United in his career. He last faced them in the Champions League quarterfinals for Barcelona, which he won 1-0.
Still, leaving out a player of Suarez’s caliber is a risk, and it will be interesting to watch whether it pays off.
