Barcelona face Manchester United, Real Madrid competition for €10 million-rated Brazilian star player
Manchester United and Real Madrid are expected to compete with FC Barcelona for Artur Victor Guimaraes, who is worth roughly €10 million.
Real Madrid and Manchester United, according to El Nacional, are among the clubs interested in Artur Victor Guimaraes’ talents. Many expect the Red Bull Bragantino front to be the “next Ronaldinho,” with some even thinking him to be the best forward in the Brazilian top flight.
As a result, Artur has been linked with a number of big European clubs, including Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. With RB Bragantino as their sister club and both are controlled by the Red Bull group in Austria, RB Leipzig is considering a move for the attacker.
Artur, who previously played for Palmeiras, joined Bragantino in January 2020. Since then, the winger has appeared in 98 competitive games, scoring 22 goals and assisting on another 23. Although his statistics aren’t very impressive, the Brazilian has built a reputation for himself by effortlessly drifting past opposing defenders.
Many people now anticipate him to move to Europe as the next stage in his career. Junior Calafat, a well-known scout who has previously discovered Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Junior, had already recommended Artur to Real Madrid.
He could be the next major Brazilian star to join Los Blancos, who are going through a period of transition and could welcome his arrival, especially given Marco Asensio’s unclear future.
Manchester United, in addition to Real Madrid, is interested in signing the Bragantino starlet, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking for offensive reinforcements. It appears that the club will miss out on Donny van be Deek in January due to interest from Newcastle and Everton, while Jesse Lingard’s future at the club is also questionable.
However, it is unlikely that either of these teams will be successful in their pursuit of Artur, according to the player’s preference for a move to Barcelona. The 23-year-old has previously turned down Real Madrid offers and appears to be following in the footsteps of his idol, Ronaldinho, by relocating to Catalonia.
As new coach Xavi aims to construct the basis of his new-look assault next season, Barcelona remains interested in securing a contract for the Brazilian. In that regard, Artur, who is valued at under €10 million, might prove to be a huge bargain for the club.
