DEAL CLOSE – MAN UNITED PLAY MAKER AGREES EVERTON MOVE
Everton is likely to sign Donny van de Beek on loan from Manchester United after the midfielder decided he would rather play for Everton than Crystal Palace.
To secure the midfielder’s services for the remainder of the season, Everton will pay a loan fee and cover his weekly wage of £120,000 in full.
Van van Beek, 24, progressed through the Ajax youth system before making his senior debut in 2015. Experienced in European events, he was instrumental in Ajax reaching the Champions League semi-finals in 2019 and also appearing in the 2017 Europa League final against Manchester United.
Since joining Manchester United for £40 million in September 2020, the Dutch midfielder’s playing time has been severely limited, with only 579 Premier League minutes in two seasons.
