Arsenal and Man City hero Bacary Sagna makes honest admission on Paul Pogba’s Man Utd future

Bacary Sagna has criticized Manchester United supporters for their abuse of Paul Pogba and revealed his thoughts on the France international’s future.

Pogba’s recent performances for United have been criticized, with the former Juventus midfielder looking a ghost of the player he was last season.

United’s recent form has mirrored his, with the Red Devils winning just three of their past ten games across all competitions.

The 28-year-current old’s deal at Old Trafford expires in the summer, and he will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with international clubs from January 1, with some of Europe’s biggest clubs apparently interested.

Former Arsenal and Manchester City right-back Bacary Sagna believes that his former international teammate Paul Pogba would be better suited to a move away from Old Trafford, while also criticizing his treatment.

‘I admire Paul’s style of play. I don’t want to speak for him, but it appears like things have been tense between him and his supporters at times since they have high expectations of him.

‘They want him to be great because he’s so captivating on the pitch and can create so much space.’ It’s a little like what’s going on with Ronaldo right now.

‘Pogba received a lot of flak for his latest red card [during United’s 5-0 loss to Liverpool], and while it was a horrible tackle, he’s fighting to get the ball back for the club.’

‘Do you want him to just stand there and watch?’ People assume he doesn’t mind because he’s smiling, but knowing him, he’s disappointed.

‘I’m not sure if he has a place at Manchester United.’ I’d like to see him shine in the team because he is a Manchester United fan.’

Before facing Watford in the Premier League on Saturday, United will be eager to put their terrible run of play behind them.
