Guehi, the England international, has undoubtedly been an influential presence for both Crystal Palace and Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions.

Manchester United, in their quest for a top center-back in 2024, have identified several targets, including Antonio Silva, Goncalo Inacio, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Edmond Tapsoba, as previously reported by Romano.

While Guehi could be a valuable addition to the Red Devils, it appears that the links to the 23-year-old may be a bit premature, according to Romano’s latest information.

Romano’s insights shed light on the situation: “Marc Guehi is continuing to perform admirably for Crystal Palace and for the English national team, which has naturally sparked fresh rumors about his future, with Manchester United being linked to him by some media outlets.”

“As I’ve previously shared, we are aware that Manchester United is on the lookout for a top center-back for 2024, which will naturally lead to a slew of names being linked.

Personally, I haven’t received any updates since I provided information that the players they are monitoring include Goncalo Inacio, Antonio Silva, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Edmond Tapsoba.”

“Guehi represents another excellent option, but it’s worth noting that I rate all of these players. Each of them possesses unique qualities and could make for solid signings.

Nonetheless, at this stage, there are no concrete negotiations; it’s primarily about scouting.

Certainly, someone like Guehi holds the advantage of being a proven talent in the Premier League. Yet, they all stand as top-quality players.”

So, while the rumors linking Guehi to Manchester United continue to circulate, it seems that the situation might not be as advanced as some reports suggest, and the club is keeping a keen eye on multiple promising center-back prospects.
