Fabrizio Romano claims 27-year-old is now going to ‘fight’ to join Manchester United this week

Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina is willing to 'fight' for a move to Manchester United until the transfer deadline.

Mason Mount was injured, so United inserted Christian Eriksen into the midfield against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Eriksen scored the game-winning goal, bringing United back into the game after falling behind 2-0 early on.

However, there were still midfield issues, with Forest runners able to break forward with little resistance.

At this point in his career, Casemiro is being pushed to cover too much ground, while Eriksen’s mobility and defensive instincts aren’t nearly suited to becoming the long-term solution.

United are still looking for another midfielder, and there is no doubt who the top target for Erik ten Hag is.

Sofyan Amrabat is ready to fight for a move to Manchester United.
Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina is United’s primary target, having previously worked with Ten Hag at Utrecht in the Netherlands.

This rumour has been around for months, but United are yet to complete a deal for the Moroccan.

With United still looking for an agreement, Fabrizio Romano has been speaking about Amrabat on YouTube.

Amrabat, according to Romano, will battle to join United before the deadline, and he has been waiting for United to make a move since the end of June.

In fact, Amrabat is willing to wait even longer, with the midfielder willing to wait until the end of the transfer window to seal his dream move to United.

Amrabat will not play for Fiorentina before the transfer window closes, which means he will miss today’s game against Lecce and Thursday’s Europa Conference League match against Rapid Wien.

Amrabat has made it clearly apparent that he wishes to depart, but United must still make a move to sign him.

“Amrabat will fight to join Manchester United, and he’s already doing his best because he’s been waiting since the end of June,” Romano stated. “It is critical for Manchester United to make a bid to Fiorentina now because contacts between the clubs have occurred multiple times through intermediaries, but there has still been no formal bid to Fiorentina.” Fiorentina is still waiting for Manchester United to make a move, but there is currently no proposition on the table. Amrabat will wait and wait and wait till the transfer window closes.”

“Also, the player is not in Fiorentina’s squad for Sunday’s game, and he will not train with the first team until the transfer window closes.” His message to the club is simple: he wants to depart as soon as possible.”

Amrabat is a good fit for Manchester United.
In recent weeks, several midfielders have been linked.

Everton’s Amadou Onana and Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch have both been widely connected recently.

Both are physically intimidating midfielders, but at this level of their development, they are more box-to-box players.

United are in need of a defensive midfielder right now, and Amrabat fits the bill.

The Moroccan midfielder may play alongside Casemiro or stand in for the Brazilian as the primary holding midfielder when necessary.

At 27, Amrabat still has a lot of potential, and a fee of approximately £30 million would be good business given how the market for midfielders has exploded recently.
