
ULSTER RUGBY CONFIRMS TWO STAR SIGNINGS AMONG 43-MAN SQUAD FOR 2025/2026 SEASON…
Ulster Rugby has announced its 43-man squad for the upcoming 2025/2026 season, with two high-profile signings headlining the team’s preparations.
The province has confirmed the arrival of two star players, South African lock forward, Jason Jenkins, and Australian scrum-half, Nick Frisby. Jenkins joins from Japanese club, Toyota Verblitz, while Frisby makes the move from French Top 14 side, Bordeaux Begles.
Jenkins, 27, brings a wealth of experience to the Ulster pack, having played for the Springboks and featuring in the Super Rugby competition for the Bulls. Frisby, 29, is a skilled and dynamic scrum-half who has played for the Australian Sevens team and featured in the Super Rugby competition for the Reds.
“We are delighted to welcome Jason and Nick to the Ulster squad,” said Ulster Rugby head coach, Dan McFarland. “Both players bring a high level of skill and experience to our team, and we believe they will make a significant impact in our quest for success this season.”
The squad also includes a number of exciting young players from the Ulster Academy, including prop forward, Callum Reid, and flanker, David McCann.
“We have a talented and dedicated group of players, and we are excited to see how they develop and grow throughout the season,” added McFarland.
