SAD NEWS: Baltimore Ravens Rule Out 3 Key Players Against Steelers

In a blow to their already decimated roster, the Baltimore Ravens have ruled out three key players for their upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team confirmed the unfortunate news on Friday, ahead of their Week 9 showdown, further complicating their already challenging season.

The first notable absence is linebacker Roquan Smith, who has been a defensive anchor for the Ravens this year. Smith, dealing with a hamstring injury, has been pivotal in the team’s defensive schemes and his absence leaves a significant gap in the middle of their defense. The Ravens will rely on veteran defenders like Patrick Queen to step up in his place.

The second casualty is tight end Mark Andrews, a crucial weapon in the Ravens’ passing game. Andrews, who has been Lamar Jackson’s top target this season, is sidelined due to a knee issue. His absence not only weakens their offense but also puts extra pressure on the Ravens’ receiving corps to fill the void left by one of the league’s top tight ends.

Finally, cornerback Marlon Humphrey has been ruled out with a groin injury. Humphrey is regarded as one of the best cover corners in the NFL, and his absence could prove costly against a Steelers offense that has been increasingly finding its rhythm.

With these key players sidelined, the Ravens will need to rely on depth and hope for strong performances from the rest of the roster as they face off against their division rivals in what promises to be a hard-fought battle.
