Sept. 25: SS Miguel Rojas dealing with groin injury
Rojas exited the game on Wednesday against the Padres with left groin tightness, which will sideline the shortstop for at least the next couple of games. Rojas said he has been dealing with the injury for a couple of weeks and aggravated it as he ran from first to third in the fourth inning.
After getting checked out by the trainer, Rojas stayed in briefly. But he ultimately came out of the game in the top half of the fifth with Tommy Edman replacing him at shortstop. Rojas said he will need an injection to help with the pain, but hopes to return for the season finale against the Rockies on Sunday, putting him in position to play in the postseason.
