2023: ‘He’s shareholder in Manchester United’ – Jibrin speaks about Tinubu’s source of wealth, real age

Jibrin, the Director-General of Tinubu’s campaign organization for the 2023 presidential election, stated that the former Lagos State Governor’s source of income has been a cause of contention.

There have been suspicions and disputes around Tinubu’s alleged vast riches, but the former lawmaker said he was startled to learn that the APC National Leader is a shareholder in English team Manchester United.

Jibrin also expressed his embarrassment that certain individuals are questioning Tinubu’s true age, reminding them that his principal is 69-70 years old.

According to the Guardian, Jibrin remarked of Tinubu’s source of money, “It has never been a matter of issue.” We discuss the aids, the source of wealth, and Asiwaju’s spending. It has always existed in public.

“I find it really insulting that we inquire about his age when it is public information.” It’s there every year; he’s 69 and about to turn 70.”

Jibrin continued, “For somebody who has been (head) hunted, right from his education days; by multi-national organizations, worked in Arthur Andersen, worked for Mobil, and came into politics.” This man did not enter politics because he was destitute.

“I tell you that no Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is impoverished.” As a senator of the federal republic, he entered politics. This man has business in his blood, both in terms of exporting and the rest. Everyone is well aware that he was the sole supporter of pro-democracy movements.

“Nobody has ever come forward with a counter-argument to that pro-democracy activism in the mid-1990s.”

“So, why are they wondering where he got all that money?” And, throughout the years, here is a man who has made investments all around the world, including a sizable stake (ownership) in Apple.

“I was startled to learn recently while watching a football match with him, that he is a shareholder in Manchester United” (Football Club). So he’s been in business for a while.

“You can categorize his business and professional life, and we can categorize his tremendous goodwill from well-wishers, which should not surprise us.”
